  Farm Table
English, c 1700

Oak. A useful and unusual size, good old color and a great, sturdy, but not heavy, look. Three-board top, thumbnail-molded all round. Legs with inverted cup and column turnings and box stretcher. One foot ended out, otherwise original condition.  49" l x 27" wide x 27-1/2" h.

  William & Mary Candlestand
English, c 1685

Oak. A good, honest oak candlestand with the height typical of the period and better than usual turnings. Thumbnail-molded octagonal top over ring-and-baluster turned stem rising from a platform base with three scrolled feet. Good original condition.  13-1/2" diam, 29" h.

  Small Gate-leg Table
English, c 1700

Oak. A simple and appealing small table with good color. Trestle base with shoe feet and single turned support. Two drop leaves with tongue and groove joint, supported on simple gates. One hinge replaced, old compensation for gate wear under leaves, otherwise original condition.  30-1/2" l x 8-1/2" w (closed) 33" w (open) x 26-1/2" h.

  Gateleg Table
English, c 1680

Oak. A useful mid-size table with exceptional color and well-figured top. With two drawers and cupid's bow shaped apron. Baluster and ring turned legs united by molded box stretchers. In very good condition, with early, possible original brass handles.  45" l x 17" w (closed) 52" w (open) x 28" h.

  Gate-Leg Table
English, c 1685

Oak. A comfortable six-seater with good color and in good, sturdy condition. The legs with urn-and-vase turnings on ball feet. Tongue-and-groove joint between top and leaves. Hinges old replacements. Pull replaced. Reinforcements to undercarriage.  53" l x 20" w (62" open) x 29" h.
