English or Welsh,
Late 18th c.
Mixed country woods, ash, elm and fruitwood.
A little gem! Outstanding color and patina, tiny size, but beautifully proportioned.The cutest little chair imaginable. Would do any grandchild proud.
Good original condition.

Oak with elm drawer.
An honest country table wearing the signs of an honest country life. Good dark color and patina. From the estate of Barbara Bel Geddes -- "Miss Ellie" in "Dallas".
Three-board, thumbnail molded top over a single drawer with applied, deeply molded surround.
Columnar legs with box stretchers.
Original condition, replaced pulls, minor repairs. No restoration.

Pair of Country Transitional Side Chairs
English,
c 1715
Oak.
Cute little chairs with an interesting mix of late 17th and early 18th-century elements. Their simplified Braganza (Spanish) feet and block-and turned legs are 17th century but their curved backs and vase splats follow the new Queen Anne fashion.
Yoke crests, curved stiles and solid, vasiform splat. 17th-c. block-and-turned legs with Spanish feet with. H-stretcher.
Single board seats with rim molding.
One with old break and repair to stile, other minor repairs, but bacically good, original condition.
Seat: 18-1/2" w x 15" d x 17-1/2" h. Back: 37" h.

Country Low Dresser

c 1730
Oak.
Wonderful old color ranging from chocolate to chestnut. The unusual and very attractive drawer fronts lift this piece well above the norm. Like all low dressers, it works well as a server, a sofa table, or as a table in a narrow hallway.
Three drawers, hand-cut veneer of oak, wanut banding and line inlay applied to the centers simulating raised panels
Cabriole legs ending in slipper feet under a shaped apron.
Feet pieced, brasses replaced, otherwise good condition.
