Living with Early Oak
Yours Sincerely

John Fiske & Lisa Freeman were antique collectors for many years before establishing Fiske & Freeman: Fine and Early Antiques in 1994. Yes, we're married.

In addition to our activities as antiques dealers, John is the Editor-in-Chief of the New England Antiques Journal. Lisa is the principal in L Freeman Marketing, which specializes in electronic marketing and web design services for the antiques trade.

John's first career was as professor of communication and cultural studies, most recently at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He was born English, was educated at Cambridge University, and taught in English and Australian universities, before emigrating to the United States in 1988.

Lisa spent 18 years as an academic book publisher, including a stint as director of the University of Minnesota Press, before founding AntiqueSource.com, one of the first antiques websites on the internet. She is the former publisher of the Green Guide to Antiquing in New England and the Green Guide to Antiquing in the Midwest.

Fiske & Freeman was featured in Business Week on March 6, 2006. Click here to read the article.
