Patch Stand

English, 1710-35

Glass. A patch stand -- a rare object that stood on a lady's dressing table to hold the various black beauty patches that she stuck on her face to hide pock marks or pimples. Not much use for anything today, too shallow for a drink, but a very interesting thing just to look at. Good original condition.

3" tall, 3-1/4" diam.
